Opening Note
As we step into a new month, I wanted to pause and share a few of the things that brought comfort, beauty, and a touch of inspiration to my April. Some are everyday essentials that quietly elevate my routine, others are small luxuries that made ordinary moments feel a little more special. Whether you're looking for a new read, a wardrobe refresh, or just something lovely to add to your day, here’s what I’ve been reaching for—and truly loving—this past month.
In case you missed out….
Here are a few of my most popular posts from April, loved by you:

What I’m Using & Loving
A round-up of the little joys and favourites that brightened my April—things I’ve truly loved and reached for often. I’ve extended the list I shared on Instagram a few weeks back.
The Everyday Bag That Goes With Everything
My Coach shoulder bag has been an effortless staple. It’s roomy enough to hold all my daily essentials (including my eReader, sunscreen, and portable perfume), yet compact and structured enough to pair well with both casual and more dressed-up outfits. It’s one of those pieces that’s both beautiful and functional, and I genuinely don’t know what I did without it.

The Most Complimented Scent in My Collection
There’s something so satisfying about finding a perfume that feels like you. This one from Chanel has become my signature scent—and without fail, someone always stops to ask what I’m wearing when I have it on. It’s warm, feminine, and lingers just enough without being overpowering. It’s a little confidence boost in a bottle.
If you’re looking for a fun and personal way to discover your signature scent, I highly recommend trying a perfume workshop. It really helped me understand the notes I naturally gravitate toward and how they interact with my body chemistry. Plus, I got to create a one-of-a-kind fragrance that’s uniquely mine. If you’re curious, here’s the workshop I did in Seoul!

I’ve also rounded up a bunch of fun workshops you can try in Korea — from artsy sessions to hands-on cooking classes and more little adventures along the way.

A Thought-Provoking Read
One of my favourite reads from April, The Silent Patient completely hooked me — I devoured it in just a couple of days. This psychological thriller lives up to the hype with a chilling premise, smart writing, and a twist I absolutely did not see coming.
The story follows Alicia Berenson, a successful painter who seemingly has a perfect life — until one night she inexplicably shoots her husband five times and then goes completely silent. Her refusal to speak turns her into a media obsession, and she’s confined to a psychiatric facility known as The Grove.
Enter Theo Faber, a criminal psychotherapist determined to get Alicia to talk. As he digs into her past, the novel alternates between his investigation and Alicia’s journal entries, creating a layered and suspenseful narrative that slowly peels back the truth.
The pacing is fast, the atmosphere is tense, and the dual perspective adds an extra edge to the unfolding mystery. It’s the kind of book that grips you from the first page and doesn’t let go.
Verdict: A standout psychological thriller that’s both clever and compelling. If you're looking for something to pull you out of a reading slump or just love a good twist, The Silent Patient is a must-read.
Skincare That Keeps Up With My Day
The SKIN1004 roll-on sunscreen hasn’t left my bag since I first picked it up. It’s perfect for reapplying SPF on the go—no mess, no white cast, just an easy way to stay protected without interrupting my day. Ideal for commutes, lunch breaks, or spontaneous coffee walks.

A Lip Tint That Does It All
My Rare Beauty lip tint has been a quiet standout in my makeup routine. It’s incredibly lightweight, gives a natural flush of colour, and stays on beautifully throughout the day. The shade I’ve been wearing is one of those rare finds that works with almost any outfit or occasion—effortless but put-together.
Minimal Gold Jewellery for Effortless Style
This month I’ve been embracing simple gold accessories, and my petite gold watch has been a particular favourite. It adds a refined touch without ever feeling too much. Paired with small hoops or layered chains, it pulls together even the most casual outfit.
Ballet Flats That Actually Keep Up
Comfortable shoes that are still cute? Yes, please. These black Mary Jane ballet flats have become a go-to for busy days. They’re versatile enough to wear to work and comfortable enough to keep on for errands or brunch. I love that they give off a slightly vintage, feminine feel without sacrificing practicality.

Reading That Fits in My Pocket
I’ve really been leaning on my Kobo eReader lately—it’s compact, lightweight, and makes it so easy to read anywhere, whether I’m on a train, in a waiting room, or winding down in bed. There’s something calming about always having a story with you. It’s helped me carve out quiet moments, even on the busiest days.
Fragrance That Travels With Me
A small but mighty favourite: my portable perfume atomiser. It lets me carry my favourite scent with me wherever I go, perfect for touch-ups after long days or unexpected plans. There’s something luxurious about being able to freshen up with just a quick spritz.
A Little Luxury for My Hands
Lastly, this cherry blossom hand cream from L’Occitane has been such a treat. The formula is lightweight yet nourishing, and the scent—floral with a hint of sweetness—feels like spring in a tube. It’s become part of my wind-down ritual and a lovely little pick-me-up throughout the day.
